Whatyou'llbe doing:

Design, develop and maintain backend applications, RESTAPIs and system integrations.

Support and enhance core banking platform and associated applications.

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design practical solutions and deliver high- quality outcomes.

processes to identifyopportunities and propose e ff ective technical solutions.

Mentor team members and share technical knowledge across the team.

Workwith AI tools (within companypolicy) to improve development e ffi ciencyand quality.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

About you

You'reanexperiencedbackenddeveloperwhoenjoyssolvingcomplexproblemsand working collaborativelyto deliver high- qualitysoftware. You have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoylearning newtechnologies while sharing your knowledge with others.

Minimum 5 years' experience as a UniVerse/Pick Developer.

Strong experience developing in an AIX environment using UniVerse/Pick and Python.

Strong knowledgeofGit/GitFlow, unit testing, TDDand softwareengineering best practices.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB preferred).

Experience with authentication technologies such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.

Knowledge of Bash and/or PowerShell scripting.

Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles and networking fundamentals.

Excellent problem solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly regarded

Experiencewith anyofthefollowing will be highly regarded:

Ultracs and/or Rocket MVIS.

AWS services including Lambda, ECS, Fargate and ECR.

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

Database administration and monitoring tools including Prometheus, CloudWatch andGrafana.
