Job Title: Looker Developer
Location: Irving, TX (On-site/Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build LookML models (views, explores, dimensions, measures) for healthcare analytics.
Optimize SQL queries and data models in BigQuery and Snowflake for performance and cost-efficiency.
Implement row-level security and access filters to ensure HIPAA-compliant data governance.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver executive-level dashboards.
Use Git-based workflows for LookML code management and deployment across dev, test, and prod environments.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience with Looker/LookML development.
Strong SQL skills with experience in BigQuery or Snowflake.
Experience building star-schema and snowflake-schema data models.
Knowledge of healthcare data (claims, membership, provider) and HIPAA compliance.
Proficiency with Git version control and Looker deployment processes.
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Irving, TX.
