Job Description

Lead Python Developer - OpenSearch Platform (NEED LOCAL)

Introduction:

We are seeking a senior-level Python Developer to lead engineering efforts for a large-scale Elasticsearch → OpenSearch migration and modernization of an enterprise observability/logging platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Python-based tools, integrations, APIs, and platform services around OpenSearch.
  • Support large-scale Elasticsearch to OpenSearch migration.
  • Build solutions for log analytics, monitoring, observability, and anomaly detection.
  • Develop automation to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with Kubernetes-hosted environments and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and application teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and influence architecture decisions.
