Lifting Equipment Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Role Overview

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of lifting and safety equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant industry standards.
• Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Support customers with technical advice when required.
• Work both within the workshop and at customer sites as required.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle to a professional standard.
• Contribute positively to the wider engineering team and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a mechanical engineering, maintenance, or fitting role.
• Experience working with lifting equipment is advantageous but not essential.
• LEEA qualifications are desirable.
• Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
