Job Description
We are seeking experienced MuleSoft Architects to support a large-scale enterprise integration initiative. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience designing and implementing MuleSoft-based integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
This is a long-term opportunity requiring strong technical architecture capabilities as well as the ability to work closely with business, application, security, infrastructure, and integration teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Define enterprise integration architecture, API strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Lead API-led connectivity initiatives across complex enterprise applications and platforms.
- Design System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
- Provide technical leadership to MuleSoft development teams.
- Review solution designs, code, integration patterns, and implementation approaches.
- Establish standards around API security, governance, reusable assets, error handling, logging, monitoring, and performance.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, application teams, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams.
- Support deployment and integration across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues.
- Mentor developers and provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong experience designing enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
- Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and MuleSoft integration patterns.
- Experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP/Web Services, JSON, XML, and related integration technologies.
- Experience integrating MuleSoft with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, databases, and legacy systems.
- Understanding of API security, OAuth, authentication, authorization, and enterprise security practices.
- Strong experience with error handling, logging, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working within large enterprise integration environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid integration environments.
- Experience defining enterprise integration governance and reusable API frameworks.
- Experience leading MuleSoft delivery teams on large transformation programs.
