Job Description

Role: Controls Engineer
Location: Burlington, MA – 5 Days Onsite

Description: 
We are on the lookout for a Controls Engineer with at least 2+ years of applied (real-world) experience for an upcoming full-time (onsite) opportunity in the Burlington, MA area.
Seeking someone who is multi-disciplinary and hands-on, not just a specialist or someone who is only theory based. Should be able to work in a lab and work with and repair electromechanical systems.
Experience working with 3D printers is ideal. Targeting s and /Permanent Residents, as sponsorship is unavailable.
 
Qualified applicants MUST possess strong experience in a majority of the following areas:
•  Classic Control Theory Fundamentals (PID, Bode plot)
•  PID Tuning (stability, filter design)
•  MATLAB
•  Dynamic Modeling
•  Multi–Degrees of Freedom –Robotics/Mechatronics
•  Brushless DC motors
•  Linear Algebra and Calculus
•  Mechanical Engineering background (this is not an AI/ML/SW role)
•  3D printing – Rapid prototyping
•  Basic C/C++ (nice to have)
