Job Title: Lead Data Modeler – AWS Cloud

Location: Malvern, PA & Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-wide conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop dimensional models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
• Define enterprise data standards and naming conventions.
• Partner with solution architects and data engineers.
• Model structured and semi-structured datasets.
• Optimize Redshift schemas for analytical performance.
• Design data lake and lakehouse data structures.
• Support ETL/ELT design and metadata management.
• Review and approve data models across projects.
• Mentor developers and modelers on best practices.
• Maintain enterprise metadata repositories and data lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of data modeling experience.
• 5+ years designing cloud-native data platforms.
• Strong experience with enterprise data governance.

• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
• TOGAF or DAMA certification
