Job Description

Temporary Paint Sprayer (Potential Permanent Opportunity) Location: Huddersfield (HD1) Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 4:30pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent

A leading supplier of industrial door components, replacement panels and loading bay equipment throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and increased workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their team in Huddersfield.

Key Responsibilities

· Preparing metal components and panels for painting. · Applying paint coatings using spray equipment to a high-quality finish. · Mixing paints and coatings in line with specifications. · Carrying out surface preparation including sanding, masking and cleaning. · Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met. · Maintaining spray equipment and ensuring the work area is kept clean and organised. · Following all health and safety procedures at all times. · Assisting with other production duties when required.

Candidate Requirements

· Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment. · Experience working with metal products and components. · Ability to prepare surfaces and achieve a high-quality finish. · Good attention to detail and quality standards. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable

· Experience with wet paint spraying. · Knowledge of industrial coatings and finishing processes. · Previous experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
