A global precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer to join its growing Research & Development team.
The business designs and manufacturers bespoke, low-volume, high-value equipment used in technically demanding industries around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled multi-disciplinary engineering team developing the next generation of advanced products.

The RoleWorking across the complete product lifecycle, you'll provide technical leadership for electronic hardware and firmware development while supporting manufacturing, testing and product improvement activities.
This is a varied role combining electronic design, systems engineering, prototype development and hands-on problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic hardware, control systems and embedded firmware
• Produce schematics, PCB layouts and prototype electronic assemblies
• Support product development from concept through to manufacture and customer support
• Work collaboratively with Mechanical, Software and Manufacturing Engineers
• Investigate and resolve complex electronic and system-level issues
• Carry out testing, validation and product verification

Skills & Experience:

• HNC, HND or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience developing electronics for industrial or electro-mechanical products
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics
• Experience with PCB design, embedded hardware and microcontrollers
