About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven business development manager with experience in the audio-visual (AV) industry to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and develop strategic client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AV solutions, including audio systems, video conferencing, LED displays, control systems, digital signage, and integrated technology solutions. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.


Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, education, hospitality, government, healthcare, and event sectors.
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Present AV solutions to clients.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct client needs analysis and propose suitable AV solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Market & Industry Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging AV technologies.
  • Provide insights to management for pricing strategies and product positioning.
  • Identify new verticals and partnership opportunities.

Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with technical/engineering teams for solution design and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in preparing RFP responses and tender documentation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-10 years of experience in AV industry sales/business development.
  • Strong understanding of AV products such as:
  • Audio systems (speakers, DSPs, amplifiers)
  • Video conferencing systems
  • LED walls & digital signage
  • Control systems (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, etc.)
  • Experience handling enterprise or government projects is preferred.


Required Skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Technical understanding of AV solutions
  • Self-motivated


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing large-scale projects
  • Familiarity with CRM software
