Join us as a Credit Analyst, Securitisation Trading Associate/Vice President
- We'll look to you to support the underwriting and management of the economic risk associated with Corporate Securitisations transactions undertaken by Private Financing
- Joining a fast-paced, dynamic, Trading & Portfolio Management team, you'll use your analytical skills in leveraged corporate credit to support the needs of this business
- It's an opportunity to contribute to our Private Credit financing business in Europe and the US, underpinning our transaction risk analysis
- Will consider both Associate and Vice President level
What you'll do
You'll be producing high-quality credit analysis by reviewing lending thesis, financial metrics, downside scenarios, and historical performance of leveraged corporates in a high pressured environment. As well as this, you'll be preparing risk write-ups that effectively support asset eligibility, diligence outcome and investment recommendation.
As a Credit Analyst, you'll be working closely with product partners in Structuring, Sales and Portfolio Monitoring to support the origination, underwriting, execution and management of Corporate Securitisation / CLO transactions.
You'll also be:
- Supporting the transaction pricing process, and comparing this with transaction risk to form a view on the acceptability of transaction risk or reward
- Liaising with various internal functions to facilitate transaction approvals and portfolio management of existing risk exposures
- Completing credit portfolio benchmarking
The skills you'll need
To take on this role, you'll need knowledge of general lending principles and experience in corporate credit underwriting / risk approval. You'll also need familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, and advanced knowledge of Excel including modelling and also Python skills would be beneficial. Ideally, you'll have the ability to deal with large datasets.
On top of this, you'll need:
- Familiarity with leveraged corporates, and lending
- Quantitative, analytical and modelling skills
- Demonstrable analytical skills
- Strong communication and systematic reasoning skills
