Quantity Surveyor | Farnborough, United Kingdom | Hybrid A leading construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Building Solutions South team, focusing on projects with secured environments and key clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects valued between £5m and £15m, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring commercial success within a collaborative and supportive team. The Role • Manage project finances to achieve gross margin and support budgeted profitability. • Oversee tendering, evaluation, and appointment of subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. • Measure, value, and agree on work to support accurate invoicing and payments. • Identify and negotiate contract variations with clients and the supply chain. • Produce monthly commercial reports and precise cost forecasts. What You'll Need • Proven experience in a similar quantity surveying role within the construction industry. • A relevant qualification (degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable). • Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse teams. • Excellent organizational skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a collaborative work ethic. • Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Office.
