micro1 is selecting skilled Frontend Engineers to support a customer''s innovative project. In this role, you''ll apply your UI development expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your development skills are what matter.

As an expert, you will be creating Reinforcement Learning Environments which test an AI model''s ability to solve frontend software problems related to fixing UI bugs, building interface features, and improving component code. You will be tasked with creating a reproducible environment and a golden reference solution for the problem.

Scope of Work

1. Contribute clear code samples, debugging approaches, and development insights in JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
2. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve UI bugs, layout issues, and state-related problems across different codebases.
3. Build small to medium interface features, keeping components clean, reusable, and easy to follow.
4. Improve existing frontend code for better readability, performance, and consistency.
5. Document your reasoning, approach, and code decisions to support AI training data quality.
6. Review peer-contributed code and technical submissions for correctness and clarity.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 1+ years of hands-on experience building user interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework.
2. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
3. Ability to debug UI issues using browser dev tools and reason through state and rendering behavior.
4. Comfortable working across different codebases and picking up unfamiliar components.
5. Good documentation and communication skills to explain your technical decisions clearly.
6. Interest in or curiosity about AI and its technical challenges (previous AI experience not required).
