We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Sales and Order Support Administrator (Job Title: Administrator, Customer Service and Sales) to support our sales team and large commercial customer accounts.

This is a business-to-business account and sales support position focused on customer order management, purchase order processing, account coordination, and communication across multiple areas of the business. This is not a call-center or retail customer service role.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting business customers in a professional office environment and understands the importance of accuracy, proactive communication, and connecting customer needs with the right internal teams. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Transportation, Product Management, brokers, and other business partners to help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Work Location: Onsite, Prince George warehouse location

Travel: No regular travel required

Salary Range: $51,000-$64,000

What You'll Do

  • Manage and support the order fulfillment process for assigned customer accounts.
  • Input, process, and manage sales orders through the company's ERP system.
  • Access, input, and maintain customer portals with accurate order and fulfillment information.
  • Pull and review customer purchase orders and ensure orders are entered accurately and processed according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when managing customer orders, pricing, purchase orders, shipping requirements, and account information.

  • Connect customer needs with Sales, Warehouse, Transportation, Finance, Product Management, and other internal partners to help ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

  • Follow up with customers regarding orders, requirements, changes, deadlines, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Transportation teams regarding order status, shipping requirements, and delivery needs.
  • Partner with Finance to review invoice accuracy and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor orders and proactively identify potential issues that could impact fulfillment or the customer experience.
  • Answer and resolve customer and consumer questions professionally and efficiently.
  • Generate reports and maintain tracking processes related to customer orders and account activity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of administrative support, customer support, order-entry, sales support, or professional related office experience.
  • Experience working in an office environment supporting customers, sales teams, accounts, or order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate order and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Preferred Experience

Candidates will stand out if they have experience with:

  • ERP systems and order processing.
  • B2B customer or key account support.
  • Sales administration or sales support.
  • Purchase order and order management.
  • Customer ordering portals.
  • Supporting large commercial customer accounts.
  • Coordinating with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Product Management teams.
  • Food industry, food manufacturing, foodservice, distribution, or a related industry.

What Success Looks Like

Early success in this position means learning our systems, processes, and customer requirements while consistently and accurately processing day-to-day orders.

As you grow in the role, you'll develop a deeper understanding of assigned customers and become someone who can connect the dots, anticipate customer needs, identify potential issues, and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams before those issues affect the customer.

Growth Opportunity

This position offers an opportunity to develop experience across customer account management, sales support, order fulfillment, and business operations. For a strong performer, the role provides an opportunity to build toward increased responsibility and potential career progression into a Senior Administrator position.

Who Will Be Successful in This Role?

You may be a great fit if you're someone who enjoys being the connection point between customers, Sales, and Operations.

You're detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with systems and data, and able to manage several priorities at once. More importantly, you don't just enter an order and move on. You take the time to understand what the customer needs, recognize when something doesn't look right, communicate proactively, and work across teams to help get it resolved.

If you have experience supporting business customers and sales teams in a professional office environment and enjoy coordinating the details that keep large customer accounts running smoothly, this could be a great next step.
