Department:
Clear-flow began in 1982 as 'one man in a van' based in Truro Cornwall. Nearly four decades later we have grown in size but we are proud to still offer a personal and value for money service.
We specialise in both domestic and commercial work across the whole of the South West.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is a busy and demanding role. The candidate should be diligent and have good attention to detail. The candidate will be the principal contact in taking customer, contractor and operative telephone calls. The candidate therefore requires an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills. Working in a small department, it’s important that the candidate can work autonomously and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring operational teams are completing work in a timely and safe manner.
- Planning and monitoring on staff workload and scheduling.
- Being the first in line to take incoming calls and assigning work to operatives.
- Perform any general administration tasks
- Fleet/Equipment Management :
- Ensuring all company vehicles are kept and maintained to company standards.
- Ensuring all equipment is used correctly and all work carried out safely and efficiently. Taking calls and assigning works to operatives using the diary system.
- Providing support on the phones on a weekend or evening via a rota system.
