Information System Security Officer

Information System Security Officer | Columbia, MD, United States | Hybrid We are seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Officer to support enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global, mission-focused workforce. This role is critical in ensuring the implementation and compliance of advanced EIT capabilities through Data Center & Compute Services, working closely with clients, teams, and vendors to maintain robust cybersecurity. The Role • Update and maintain hardware/software inventory records with associated change logs • Coordinate Secure the Enterprise (STE) and Secure the Network (STN) activities • Review and address Xacta notices and ensure compliance documentation is current • Complete SEAR audit log records in accordance with standards • Track, review, and resolve POAMs related to IAVA/IAVAx findings • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for new and existing systems What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 20 years of relevant experience • Experience with Xacta, LatteArt, and other relevant sponsor tools • Experience managing POAMs, performing audit log reviews, and maintaining secure system inventories • IAM I certification (DoD 8140 required upon start of employment) • Knowledge of STE and STN processes and coordination • Experience with the Service Now (SNOW) platform What's On Offer • Opportunity to support a global, mission-focused workforce • Work with advanced EIT capabilities and Data Center & Compute Services • Play a critical role in enterprise cybersecurity and compliance • Must possess and maintain a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Apply via Haystack today!
