Job Description

A leading global private equity firm is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join its high-performing People team on a 12–16-month fixed term contract.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and drive a sophisticated learning and development strategy within a world-class investment environment. Working closely with an influential CHRO and senior stakeholders across the business, you will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture, developing future leaders and ensuring employees have the skills and support to thrive throughout their careers.

The role offers significant visibility, autonomy and the opportunity to have a genuine impact across an international organisation.

  • Curriculum Development: Build on our newly established training curriculum aligned with career pathways, anticipating future skills and development needs. Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver the annual curriculum to a high standard and to meet development needs.
  • Content Creation & Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging learning content, including for key events such as our firmwide, team and office offsite events.
  • Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership programmes, including executive-level development initiatives. Engage with senior leaders to embed leadership excellence across the firm.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with strategic goals and meet development needs.
  • Coaching: Ideally a qualified coach, you will manage the firm’s coaching offering and provide one-to-one support to individuals across the organisation.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in - whether that’s refining processes, supporting delivery logistics, or ensuring learning initiatives run smoothly and effectively

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years proven experience in a learning and development role, ideally within financial or professional services.
  • Strong understanding of what “good” looks like in L&D, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach. Good attention to detail and high standards are key.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes, both in-person and online.
