Job Description

Job Duties

  • Develop, coordinate, and integrate cyber planning, mitigation strategies, tactics, and operations.
  • Leverage existing processes, analytic techniques, proprietary tools and technologies to create and implement operational campaigns.
  • Document operational use cases to support adversary defeat
  • Initiate communications with external support partners
  • Conduct research for sources of data to be used in future planning.
  • Utilize experience with operational planning
  • Have a strong cyber background
  • Ability to effectively communicate requirements
  • Lead developmental working groups and/or meetings as requested by the client.

Required Skills

  • US Citizens Only
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance and Polygraph required
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience and a Doctoral degree, three (3) years of relevant experience and a Master's degree, five (5) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, seven (7) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree, nine (9) years of relevant experience and a high school diploma/GED required
  • Degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance or related field preferred, but degree in any field is acceptable
  • Relevant experience must be related to customer mission (e.g., collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and/or a similar mission in the IC or DoD, and include strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g., joint operations)
  • Experience with network operations, DCO and OCO methodologies
  • Familiarity with Joint Publication (JP 3.12) and development of aligned execution orders (EXORDS's), operations orders (OPORDS's) and planning orders (PLANORDS's)
  • Experience with formulating courses of action (COA's) based on high-level operational directives

Preferred Qualifications

  • External engagement experience (e.g., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignments, and external customer support) is preferred
  • Formal Cyber Planning Training or Certifications such as:
  • Cyber Operations Planners Course (COPC)
  • Joint Cyber Operational Planners Course (JCOPC)
  • DC3 Cyber Training Academy Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000
