Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Product Owner to join their team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Cash Equities Technology department supporting trading platforms with a focus on Client Connectivity, FIX integrations, Order Management, and Global Routing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead the development and delivery of scalable, client-facing trading capabilities within a global electronic trading environment.
  • Collaborate closely with trading desks, clients, and engineering teams to define requirements and ensure successful implementation.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted tools to enhance requirements discovery, specification quality, and technical analysis.
  • Manage the full trade lifecycle, including order capture, execution, trade capture, and settlement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as FIX messaging protocols and global routing systems.

What's Needed?

  • 5-10+ years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Delivery roles within Capital Markets.
  • Hands-on experience with Cash Equities and Equity Swaps trading workflows.
  • Proficiency in FIX messaging protocol, client connectivity, and onboarding processes.
  • Strong understanding of electronic and algorithmic trading systems, including order routing and trade lifecycle management.
  • Technical fluency in reading and reasoning about code (Java, C++, scripting) and analyzing logs and data flows.
