Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on Golang Engineer to develop and enhance enterprise compliance and automation platforms supporting the Permit To Operate (PTO) program. The role involves building scalable backend services, APIs, and automation solutions that help application teams meet security, governance, and operational compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend applications and microservices using Golang.
• Build REST APIs and automation workflows supporting PTO onboarding, compliance validation, and remediation tracking.
• Develop integrations with enterprise platforms including GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, security tools, monitoring systems, and internal governance platforms.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement automated compliance checks within software delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with SRE, Security, Platform Engineering, and application teams to drive compliance automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of hands-on Golang development.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Goroutines, Channels, Concurrency Patterns, and Go Modules.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
• Experience integrating with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise application development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing compliance, governance, security, or audit automation tools.
• Exposure to Permit To Operate (PTO), risk management, or regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Knowledge of SRE, observability, and platform engineering practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Devin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
