Test Technician (Contract-to-Hire) - Aerospace Manufacturing

$32-$40/hour (DOE) | 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Natick, MA

We're hiring a Test Technician to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced propulsion systems used in next-generation space technology. This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot precision aerospace components and propulsion hardware.


• Set up and operate test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.


• Collect and document test data while verifying product performance.


• Read engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.


• Support prototype builds, production testing, and process improvements.


• Perform mechanical assembly, modifications, and rework as needed.


• Maintain accurate records while following quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, testing, aerospace, or a related technical field.


• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.


• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.


• Experience with precision assemblies, fluid systems, instrumentation, or electromechanical equipment is a plus.


• U.S. Citizenship required.
