Fire Alarm/Suppression/Electrical Engineer

An established specialist life safety contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm / Fire Suppression / Electrical Engineer to support continued growth across their service and maintenance division.

This is a hands-on role working on complex, critical life safety systems, offering strong earning potential through overtime, travel and allowances.

The Role Installation (project-based), commissioning, servicing and remedial works on fire alarm and fire suppression systems<br />Working on complex systems within critical environments (e.g. data centres and high-risk sites)<br />Predominantly site-based across the North West, with UK travel as required<br />Occasional working away:<br />Typically 1 week per quarter (sometimes 2)<br />Overseas work mainly in Germany and the Netherlands<br />All travel, accommodation, food and expenses covered when working away<br />Paid overtime and enhanced rates for UK and overseas workExperience Required 3–5+ years’ experience working on fire alarm systems<br />Strong experience with addressable systems (e.g.

Gent, Notifier, Advanced)<br />Experience with fire suppression systems (gas suppression / water mist) is highly desirable and a key differentiator<br />Experience with commissioning, fault finding and system-level troubleshooting<br />Comfortable working independently on complex sites<br />Full UK driving licencePackage Details Basic salary circa £40,000<br />Higher salaries available (£42k–£43k+) for strong all-round candidates<br />Significant overtime available – realistic total earnings £50k–£70k+<br />Company van provided (fully equipped with tools)<br />Paid allowances when working away<br />All expenses covered (travel, accommodation, food)<br />Long-term opportunity with a strong and growing project pipelineIdeal For An experienced engineer who:
