SCA - Engineering Technician

Position Title:

SCA - Engineering Technician

Job Purpose:

Job Description: Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions.

Position Overview:
Perform environmental testing on all programs. This includes temperature, Vibration, and other environmental tests.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and monitor thermal and vibration tests per mil-std's and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical inspections per drawings and procedures using calibrated measuring devices.
• Documentation of test results and other required information using forms and electronic data base.
• Communication with technicians and management staff.
• Must be able to work unsupervised with consistent effort.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2 year degree or military equivalent
