Vice President, Fund Reporting | Lake Mary, FL | Hybrid

The Role
• Prepare and review complex accounting statements for clients' funds.
• Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring timely and accurate statement production.
• Reconcile balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of shareholders' equity for sophisticated funds.
• Draft detailed accounting statements and reports, including fund calculations, to present fund performance.
• Provide expert guidance on report structure, completeness, and accuracy of disclosures.
• Ensure financial reports comply with corporate and regulatory standards, advising on necessary process changes.
• Lead client and auditor relationships to facilitate accurate financial reporting portraying fund performance.
• Assist in presenting fund reports to Boards of Directors, ensuring strong governance and clear communication.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of progressive work experience in accounting.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing complex fund accounting statements and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide a team, potentially including Team Lead responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of corporate and regulatory financial reporting standards.
