Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Analyst to support the Global Internal Audit organization by developing advanced analytics solutions that improve audit efficiency, strengthen risk identification, and deliver meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, Business Intelligence platforms, and data analytics, with experience supporting Internal Audit, SOX, Risk Management, or Finance functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Master''s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Audit Analytics, or related analytical roles.
- Experience supporting Internal Audit, SOX Compliance, Risk Management, or Finance organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of analytical methodologies and business intelligence best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL for complex data querying, extraction, optimization, and validation.
- Strong Python programming for automation, data preparation, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
- Hands-on experience building ETL processes and data transformation pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Experience creating reusable analytical assets and documentation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of React is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced analytics solutions to enhance audit effectiveness and risk identification.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Develop automated data preparation, validation, and reporting processes using SQL and Python.
- Partner with Internal Audit and business stakeholders to support audit planning, execution, SOX reviews, and enterprise risk initiatives.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and traceability checks to ensure audit-ready outputs.
- Maintain high standards of data governance, security, privacy, and quality.
- Develop reusable analytics frameworks, templates, and documentation.
- Support AI-driven automation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Independently manage multiple analytics projects and prioritize deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members and promote analytics best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Preferred Skills
- Internal Audit analytics experience.
- Knowledge of SOX Compliance and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Experience with Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
- Exposure to AI-powered analytics and automation solutions.
