Konstrukteur (m/w/d) – Elektrotechnik | Hamburg, Germany | On-site We're hiring on behalf of a leading German shipyard, renowned for its exceptional expertise in shipbuilding and its significant contributions to shaping maritime history through pioneering technology and design. This established company delivers intelligent, innovative solutions for naval vessels, requiring deep technical knowledge in advanced equipment and shipbuilding know-how. They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Constructor to join their team for their naval shipbuilding projects. The Role • Contribute to the conceptual development and selection of electrical systems, including onboard power grids, switchgear, and cable and lighting systems for naval vessels. • Develop technical specifications and tender documents for suppliers. • Create and maintain design and inspection documents, along with managing equipment databases. • Participate in technical negotiations with suppliers and oversee their performance. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration on the ship. • Support testing and acceptance procedures. • Assist with the technical implementation during onboard construction. What You'll Need • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification. • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering design for large-scale projects, preferably with switchgear, cabling, or lighting systems in naval shipbuilding. • Proficiency with MS Office. • Familiarity with CAD tools such as TC NX, AutoCAD, or EPLAN is desirable. • Basic understanding of handling product data in ERP systems. • Very good German and good English language skills. • Independent and structured work approach, with strong communication skills. • Willingness to undertake a small amount of travel (approx. 5%).
