Job Description

Description:

Join an Exceptional Organization with more than 70 years in the New Mexico Medical Community. X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is hiring a Full Time Payroll Specialist to perform the day-to-day operations of payroll, complete payroll and benefit reconciliations, and assist with other accounting duties as assigned.

Duties:

  • Compiles timesheets, verifies timesheets have been reviewed and approved by management
  • Troubleshoots timecard and payroll issues with managers and staff
  • Submits payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Performs payroll and benefit reconciliations
  • Transfers data to benefit carriers
  • Supports HR with wage and hour reporting and verifications of employment
  • Supports year end employee benefit audits
Requirements:
  • Accounting or Finance degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years payroll experience in a mid-sized company
  • Must have a valid New Mexico Drivers' License and maintain a clean driving record, carry insurance, and provide own vehicle to go to multiple office locations, as needed
  • Requires 10-key by touch.
  • Requires ability to use Excel and Windows Operating System with Advanced skill
  • Experience with Paylocity Payroll software preferred
  • Experience with general Human Resources and Benefits as it applies to payroll preferred
  • Experience working with computerized payroll and time keeping systems required
  • Experience with payroll and benefit reconciliation required
  • Experience with Federal and State reporting requirements
  • Ability to maintain Payroll and HIPAA privacy and security standards in accordance with XRANM policies and procedures in an effort to protect PHI and limit its use to what is considered minimally necessary

This is a full-time, in person position, Monday - Friday day shift. Occasional after-hours work required as job duties demand.
