Tableau Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an early to mid-career Tableau Developer with strong SQL expertise and experience in data visualization, analytics, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing impactful Tableau dashboards, designing curated datasets, and creating semantic-ready tables/views to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Design and develop curated datasets, semantic-ready tables, and views for reporting needs.
• Apply data modeling concepts to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions.
• Use Git for version control and managing development workflows.
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and data processing activities.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau development and dashboard creation.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in data querying, transformation, and optimization.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or BigQuery preferred.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts.
• Experience with data modeling and designing analytical datasets.
• Working knowledge of Git/version control tools.
• Experience with Python for analytics and automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tableau Administration.
• Exposure to Qlik.
• Experience working with modern cloud data platforms and BI environments.

Experience Level

Early to Mid-Career professional with hands-on experience in Tableau development, SQL, data analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
