About the Company<br />Our client is a well-established sheet metal fabrication specialist based in Stockport, delivering bespoke fabrication projects from small precision machine parts through to large structural steel assemblies. With in-house welding (carbon steels, stainless, alloys and cast iron), profiling, laser cutting, grinding and sheet metal work, they're an ISO 9001-certified business serving manufacturers, architects, local authorities and housing developers. The Role<br />We're looking for someone with a hands-on welding and fabrication background to step into a Project Engineer role supporting quality and inspection across the workshop. You'll be the person making sure what leaves the building matches the drawing.

• Inspecting fabricated products against engineering drawings
• Creating final inspection reports and populating quality files
• Working closely with the workshop team on quality queries as projects progress
• Supporting jobs through the workshop to specification and deadline What You'll Need
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
• A solid background in welding and fabrication
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
• Organised and methodical — comfortable producing inspection reports and keeping files up to date What's On Offer?
