Role: AWS/Python developer

Location: Remote, but only for Eastern, Central, and Mountain Time zone candidates

Exp: Min 15+ yrs

• However, the roles being discussed are primarily hands-on developer positions, not architecture or management roles.
• Interviewers are specifically looking for candidates who are comfortable with hands-on coding and development.
• Some candidates may misunderstand the JD and assume the position is primarily an Architect-level role.
• During screening, it is important to confirm the candidate’s interest in hands-on development work.
• Candidates should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their time developing, coding, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions.
• Before scheduling an interview, confirm that the candidate is not primarily seeking an Architect or Technical Manager position.
• This helps avoid situations where a candidate expects an architecture-focused role but is not interested in the hands-on responsibilities.

 Candidates need extensive exp in:

- AWS

- Lambda

- Terraform

- IaC

- System Design knowledge

- Kafka

- API Development

- CloudWatch

- Strong foundation in cloud technologies – python, Java, AWS, Lambda, Step Functions

Required Qualifications

- 15+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience

- Strategic thinker is a MUST

- Someone with consistent communication and ability to follow through

- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional preferred)
- Experience in cloud environments
- Strong experience with Terraform
- Strong experience in scripting languages (Python)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
