Solutions Architect - Claims Discovery/London Market Insurance

Our sister company Stellarmann are supporting a leading London Market insurer on a strategic Claims Technology Discovery engagement and are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the assessment and optimisation of a key claims platform. This role will drive a high impact discovery initiative focused on evaluating current claims capabilities, identifying operational and technical challenges, and defining solution options that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and London Market best practice.
Reporting into senior technology and business leadership, this position will play a key role in shaping the future claims technology landscape, producing strategic recommendations and helping establish a roadmap for future delivery activity.

You'll be a great fit for this role if:

• You have strong experience working within the London Market insurance sector and possess a deep understanding of claims processes, workflows, and operating models.
• You have experience with claims workflow, automation, or claims management platforms.
• You can confidently lead discovery engagements, conduct structured assessments, and translate business requirements into practical architectural recommendations.
• You have extensive knowledge of the claims technology vendor landscape, including both established and emerging market solutions.
• You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across claims, operations, technology, and third-party vendors to build consensus and drive outcomes.
• You can clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is an Outside IR35 contract with an initial 6-week discovery phase and a strong likelihood of extension to support the subsequent delivery programme. The role requires 2-3 days per week onsite in London.
