AI Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid )

Experience: 8–10 Years

Required Qualifications

· 8–10 years of software engineering, solution architecture, or application architecture experience.

· Strong hands-on C#/.NET and  Core experience.

· Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience, including Azure App Service.

· Strong REST API and enterprise integration experience.

· Working knowledge of React/Next.js and TypeScript.

· Experience with Docker, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.

· Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, cloud security, scalability, and resiliency.

· Strong troubleshooting, architecture review, communication, and technical leadership skills.

AI Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience with several of the following:

· Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs and enterprise LLM applications

· AI agents, agentic workflows, and tool/function calling

· Model Context Protocol (MCP)

· Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector/hybrid search, and Azure AI Search

· Prompt engineering, structured outputs, agent orchestration, AI evaluation, and AI observability

· Prompt-injection protection and AI security controls

Preferred Qualifications

· Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI services; Microsoft Agent Framework or Semantic Kernel.

· Azure AI Search, Key Vault, Azure Container Apps, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or OpenTelemetry.

· Python experience for AI workloads.

· Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, enterprise document-management, or knowledge-management integrations.

· Experience delivering applications in security-sensitive or regulated enterprise environments.
