IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, customize, and support IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM) solutions.
• Work extensively with MDM data models, entities, transactions, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain MDM batch processing and integration workflows.
• Configure and customize InfoSphere MDM components based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and MDM processing issues.
• Develop and support integrations between MDM and enterprise applications.
• Design and implement Apache Kafka-based messaging and event-driven integrations.
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, integration teams, and other development teams.
• Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise scalability, performance, reliability, and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition / Virtual MDM.
• Strong understanding of:
• MDM data models
• MDM entities
• MDM transactions
• Batch processing
• Configuration
• Customization
• Troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise application integration and messaging platforms.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience supporting high-volume, enterprise-scale MDM environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, and automated deployment processes.
