HAM Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HAM Analyst to support the assessment and improvement of the current Configuration Management Database (CMDB) function. The ideal candidate will have hands-on ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module experience and a strong asset management mindset. This role will advise the global team on improvements, facilitate meetings, answer stakeholder questions, and provide backup support as needed.

Key Responsibilities Assess the current CMDB function and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations and guidance to the global team on CMDB and asset management improvements. Utilize ServiceNow HAM capabilities to support hardware asset management processes and initiatives. Run meetings and facilitate discussions with technical and business stakeholders. Answer questions related to HAM, ServiceNow, and asset management processes. Serve as backup support for the team lead when needed.

Present information, recommendations, and findings to upper management and other stakeholders. Collaborate with global teams to support asset management improvements and operational objectives. Apply an asset management mindset when evaluating processes, tools, and opportunities for improvement. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module. Strong understanding and practical experience with ServiceNow HAM within the module, rather than solely ServiceNow development experience.

Strong understanding of hardware asset management principles and processes. Ability to assess existing processes and recommend improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to answer technical and functional questions and communicate effectively with various audiences. Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with upper management. Ability to work independently and provide backup support to team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM). Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Stronger HAM experience is preferred, as this is an area of current team need. Candidates with significant SAM experience combined with some HAM experience may also be considered.
