Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear, customer-centric product vision aligned with Metrolink''s strategic initiatives (such as mobile ticketing, passenger information displays, or scheduling software).
• Backlog Management: Own, groom, and prioritize the product backlog. Order user stories, epics, and themes to maximize ROI and operational value for transit riders and internal staff.
• Sprint Execution: Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, operations teams, external contractors, and software developers.
• Requirements Definition: Write clear acceptance criteria and partner with UX/UI designers and technical architects to ensure solutions meet safety, compliance, and user accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience, preferably within public transit, rail operations, government contracting, or complex enterprise software.
• Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with Scrum frameworks, SAFe, or similar scaled agile methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills to balance technical constraints with passenger-facing demands.
