Operation Specialist _remote
 
12 months Contract
 
 
As an Operations Specialist, your role is to oversee and optimize day-to-day operational processes within an organization, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth workflow across various departments.
 
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute operational needs of the firm in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Take a proactive approach to problem solving
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized
• Provide high-quality customer service • Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies
• Prepare and present operational reports to management
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for problem solving and a drive for finding solutions to complex challenges
• We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving
• This position requires an individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
The team supports the accessibility of the security reference data by ensuring security is set up, and data is accurate for other business areas to use for trading, trade confirmation generation, etc

Skills:   -
This role involves continuous communication throughout the day to ensure adequate team coverage for all functions. The candidate should be a proactive communicator.

Education:        -
•    Required: 3–6 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Must have a background in data validation and reconciliation.
  • Basic knowledge of investment securities is required.

Note:
Data validation and reconciliation experience.
The candidate must be comfortable with an 8 am to 5:30 pm CST shift.
Must have exposure working with vendors like Bloomberg and ICE.
Exposure with tools like : Bloomberg Terminal, S&P Capital IQ, finviz, LSEG Workspace, and EMA
