As aJunior Project Manager , you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across the business. You will work alongside project managers and cross-functional teams to help manage timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project management skills while playing an important role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

The role – what you’ll be doing

Project Coordination

  1. Support the planning and delivery of projects, ensuring activities are completed in line with agreed timelines.
  2. Maintain project plans, schedules, documentation and action logs.
  3. Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  4. Coordinate project meetings workshops and team communications.

Stakeholder Management

  1. Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  2. Support stakeholder engagement and assist in managing stakeholder expectations.
  3. Prepare project status reports, presentations and other project communications.
  4. Escalate issues and risks to senior project managers and business SMEs when required.

Risk and Issue Management

  1. Maintain project risk and issue logs.
  2. Monitor mitigation actions and ensure agreed actions are progressed.
  3. Follow up on outstanding risks, issues and dependencies, providing updates to project leads.

Financial and Resource Management

  1. Support project budget tracking, reporting and financial administration activities.
  2. Monitor project expenditures against forecasts.
  3. Assist with resource planning, scheduling and allocation activities.

Governance and Reporting

  1. Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, governance standards and reporting requirements.
  2. Prepare governance packs and project status reports.
  3. Maintain accurate project records and documentation to support project assurance and audit requirements.

  2. Excellent written and verbal communication
  3. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  6. Experience in project coordination, project support, business administration, or a related role.
  7. Experience in supporting project teams and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.
