SOC Analyst with Security Clearance

Insight Global is actively hiring TS/SCI Cleared SOC Analyst to join our team supporting a newly awarded mission out of Fort Meade, Maryland. The SOC Analyst will support continuous cybersecurity monitoring and defense of mission-critical network environments. The SOC Analyst will serve as a frontline defender responsible for identifying, analyzing, triaging, and escalating potentially malicious activity across enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with Splunk, Wireshark, ArcSight, Snort, FireEye, packet capture (PCAP) data, IDS/IPS platforms, and network/security logs to investigate suspicious activity and determine whether alerts represent legitimate activity or potential cyber incidents. Similar SOC experience in your internal candidate material includes correlating SIEM telemetry, packet captures, endpoint data, firewall logs, and threat intelligence during investigations. Minimum job requirements include:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelors and 4+ years of experience (or no degree and 8 years of experience) in a hands on SOC, Cyber Watch, Network defense, or incident response role
• Experience with Wireshark, Splunk, Arcsight or similar SIEM Tool
• Experience with PCAP and packet analysis tools
• Security+ Certification We are hiring multiple candidates for these opening so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including years of experience, depth of knowledge, clearance level and education/certifications. However, we anticipate paying 120K to 130K for these openings.
