  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, QA, and validation engineers to troubleshoot issues and prioritize testing activities.
  • Communicate testing progress, blockers, and results clearly to cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, documentation, standardized testing, and overall validation efficiency.

Hardware Validation & Test Engineering

  • 4+ years of experience in hardware validation, QA, laboratory testing, or a related engineering support role.
  • Experience working with USB-connected devices, consumer electronics, or hardware peripherals.
  • Experience executing both manual and automated hardware validation test plans.
  • Strong debugging skills with the ability to determine whether failures originate from hardware, firmware, software, test fixtures, or automation.
  • Experience collecting, reviewing, and analyzing diagnostic logs.
  • Ability to read and modify existing Python scripts used for test automation (experience with creating Python scripts, a plus).
  • Comfortable learning new validation tools and internal testing frameworks.
  • Experience creating clear technical documentation, defect reports, and reproducible bug reports including logs, screenshots, and timestamps.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent testing activities while adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent context switching between projects and technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and prioritize testing activities.
