They're now looking for an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to join their helpdesk team, covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, with the potential for field-based project work depending on location.

The Role

  • Other ad hoc duties as required, including some assistance with projects
  • Hybrid working - the role will primarily be remote-based, with some requirement to work from the Cambridge office
  • Candidates based in the East of England may also be involved in occasional onsite client project work, where there's a desire to do so; candidates based further afield will be focused on a purely remote support role

  • A working knowledge of networking principles and technologies, with experience troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls

Personal Qualities

  • Articulate and well presented, with an excellent telephone manner
  • Organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • A desire to learn new skills
  • Ready to hit the ground running and self-motivated
