Senior Systems Administrator | Valley Park, MO, United States | Hybrid | $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

We're hiring for a highly respected organization that plays a critical role in national security, providing advanced technology-enabled services and software capabilities to defense and intelligence customers. The Role

  • Lead system administration for Linux and Windows-based systems within secure, mission-critical environments.
  • Architect and manage complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure, including VMware and KVM.
  • Perform OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in compliance with strict security standards.
  • Monitor and tune system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Support backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery plans, and continuity of operations.
  • Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.

What You'll Need

  • US citizenship required per contract.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline with 8-12 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
  • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP).
  • Proven experience with Linux and Windows Server platform system administration.
  • Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and automation/scripting (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
