Content Strategist - Fashion E-commerce

Job Description
We're looking for a Content Strategist to be the driving force behind our brand's content: messaging, planning, scripting and execution, across 3 brands. You'll own the content roadmap end-to-end, ensuring every piece serves both business goals and user needs, while staying tightly aligned with broader marketing and brand objectives.
Strategy & Planning
- Own the content strategy and calendar across web, app, social, email, and campaigns
- Translate business goals (conversion, retention, brand awareness) into actionable content plans
- Identify content gaps and opportunities across the customer journey: discovery, consideration, purchase, post-purchase
- Partner with marketing, brand, and category teams to align content with seasonal launches, campaigns, and sale events
Messaging & Scripting
- Define and maintain brand tone of voice, messaging pillars, and content guidelines
- Write and/or oversee scripts for video, reels, product stories, and campaign content
- Craft compelling copy for product pages, landing pages, lookbooks, and campaign assets
- Ensure consistency of voice across all channels and formats
Content Management & Execution
- Manage the content production pipeline - briefing, reviewing, and approving work from writers, designers, and video teams
- Coordinate with photography/videography teams for shoot planning tied to content needs
- Maintain a content repository/asset library for easy reuse and repurposing
- Manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects
Performance & Optimization
- Define content KPIs (engagement, CTR, conversion, time-on-page) and track performance
- Use data and user insights to continuously refine content approach
- A/B test messaging, formats, and creative angles to improve outcomes
- Stay on top of fashion, e-commerce, and content trends to keep the brand culturally relevant
Cross-functional Alignment
- Work closely with performance marketing, social media, and design teams to ensure integrated campaigns
- Partner with the merchandising/category team to align content with product drops and inventory priorities
- Present content strategy and performance updates to leadership
- 2-3 years of experience in content strategy, editorial or brand content roles: fashion, lifestyle or e-commerce preferred

- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an eye for visual/brand aesthetics
- Proven experience managing content calendars and cross functional production workflows
- Understanding of e-commerce funnels and how content drives conversion
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, social content formats, and email/lifecycle marketing
- Comfort working with AI and data: GA, content performance dashboards, etc.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with fashion/apparel brands specifically
- Hands-on scripting/shoot planning experience
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms
