Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Support Analyst - Onsite position with a Major Financial Services Company located in New York, NY. This is a contract opportunity.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for providing first-level technical assistance and end-user support for computer systems, hardware (Windows and Mac), software, mobile devices, and applications. The analyst will support users via chat, phone, and in-person within the home office, harnessing a blend of problem-solving and interpersonal skills to resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will be genuinely interested in learning and progressing in their role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support at various levels of expertise and responsibility
- Support home office users with passwords, hardware (Windows and Mac), software, mobile devices, applications, and networks
- Assist users via chat, phone, and in-person support
- Provide analysis and research needed to resolve issues presented to the Service Desk
- Back up other positions including AV and specialty teams as needed
Primary Requirements:
- Must be able to work onsite five days per week in Lower Manhattan, New York
- Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills with a focus on politeness, patience, and understanding
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and capacity to work under pressure
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies
- Punctual and reliable attendance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Mac systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
