Business Analyst

Introduction

The Business Analyst will work with the VDOT Asset Management Team to analyze complex processes and systems, gather requirements, and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather requirements
• Translate business and system requirements into clear and testable documentation
• Create and manage agile items using Azure DevOPS (TFS) such as Product backlog, Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Test Plans, and Test Cases
• Work on Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects
• Document high-level Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, and execute test cases
• Analyze and document business and system processes
• Assist with system integration testing and user acceptance testing
• Prepare diagrams and visualizations to explain modifications to technical and executive staff
• Handle conflict resolution and negotiate priorities
• Document and manage user adoption of new systems/processes
