Senior AWS Solutions Architect
Location: Remote
Contract - 3 months +

CDW is seeking a Senior AWS Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives, serve as a trusted advisor to customers, and provide technical leadership across large-scale AWS engagements. This role will focus on solution architecture, modernization, cloud-native platforms, and mentoring engineering teams.
Required Skills

• Expert-level AWS architecture and enterprise cloud design
• AWS Landing Zones, Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and multi-account environments
• Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, ArgoCD, and cloud-native platforms
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
• Advanced AWS networking (Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, VPCs, DNS, hybrid connectivity)
• AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Secrets Manager)
• Database expertise including RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and AWS DMS
• CI/CD and DevOps automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Citrix VDI and Amazon WorkSpaces
• Logging, monitoring, observability, backup, and disaster recovery
• AI/GenAI experience with Amazon Bedrock, LLMs, Claude, MCP, or similar technologies
• Hybrid cloud experience with VMware and on-premises modernization

Preferred Experience

• Leading enterprise cloud transformation programs from architecture through delivery
• Executive stakeholder engagement and customer-facing consulting
• Building and mentoring cloud engineering teams
• AWS cost optimization, FinOps, MAP, and cloud adoption programs
