COBOL Developer (Senior Software Engineer)

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL, COBOL, and DOS batch files.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Design and develop reports.
Collaborate effectively within the development team.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of professional software development experience.
Must have advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries optimization (Microsoft SQL server preferred).
Knowledge of DOS batch scripting is required.

Should have COBOL experience, preferably has recent experience in not pure mainframe environment. NetCobol is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
Experience with financial services domain is preferred.
Knowledge of Python is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
