Job Description

Title : Systems Engineer 4 Location: El Segundo, CA - Onsite Salary Range: $60 to $70/hr on W2 Contract Duration : 12 months Introduction Join the Space and Launch Engineering team to design and develop state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs. Be part of a highly-motivated team that collaborates with domestic and international customers on the latest satellite systems. Project assignments typically span the unit life cycle, from internal trades, concept studies and system definition, to satellite unit development and test.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Experience with signal processing or image processing.
  • Experience with electronic systems engineering.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Master's degree or similar degree in signal processing or algorithm development focus.
  • Development of algorithms for hardware implementation on ASICs or FPGAs.
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing based classes, projects, or work experience. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design and develop next-generation RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems.
  • Develop and verify multi-rate fixed-point digital signal processing architectures.
