Offensive Cyber Operations Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Offensive Cyber Operations Lead in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Lead advanced cybersecurity assessments and offensive security initiatives to identify and reduce organizational risk
• Conduct security testing across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and user-facing systems
• Evaluate security controls, detection capabilities, and incident response processes to improve overall security effectiveness
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend solutions
• Support security strategy, operational improvements, and process enhancements across the organization
• Develop reports and presentations that communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to diverse audiences
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members while fostering continuous improvement
• Coordinate internal and third-party security testing activities and ensure alignment with compliance requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on security testing, threat assessment, or offensive security activities
• Experience leading complex security initiatives and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience identifying security risks, evaluating controls, and supporting remediation efforts
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and influencing strategic security decisions
• Strong knowledge of enterprise technology environments, networks, operating systems, identity platforms, and cloud services
• Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and risk management practices
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts and risk considerations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant security certifications and advanced technical training preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
