Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Generative AI, LLM, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Build advanced RAG pipelines using Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, chunking, metadata filtering, reranking, grounding, and citations.
• Design and implement single-agent and multi-agent workflows using Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, or comparable frameworks.
• Develop autonomous and human-in-the-loop agents capable of planning, reasoning, tool calling, and interaction with enterprise systems.
• Build secure integrations with REST APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and event-driven services.
• Develop user-facing AI applications using React and TypeScript, with supporting backend services using Node.js or comparable technologies.
• Establish agent evaluation frameworks covering groundedness, relevance, citation quality, safety, regression testing, and overall response quality.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, or similar platforms to monitor traces, tool calls, latency, token usage, errors, and operational metrics.
• Build scalable, secure, containerized AI solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, health checks, and production monitoring.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 2 3 years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI, LLM, RAG, or Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, LLM APIs, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, and enterprise AI applications.
• Strong software engineering experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js or comparable backend frameworks, REST APIs, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

• Location: Reston, VA.
• Experience with enterprise security, identity and access management, authorization, data privacy, compliance, and production AI operations is highly valued.
