Technical Consultant

Mainframe Automation Consultant Location: Remote Contract Length: Three - Six Months IR35 Status Outside IR35 Rate: Circa £600 Per Day The Role I am working with a longstanding client who require an experienced Mainframe Automation Consultant to support a major automation migration programme.

The role is focused on converting existing OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation and the successful candidate will bring deep mainframe automation expertise, strong REXX development skills and a proven track record delivering automation conversion projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialised programme where your expertise in REXX, Mainframe Automation and AMI Ops Automation will be central to the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities Convert OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation<br />Review and optimise existing automation processes<br />Develop and maintain REXX-based automation solutions<br />Support the migration of critical operational workloads<br />Work closely with technical teams to ensure a successful transition Essential Skills Strong REXX development experience<br />Hands on experience with OPS/MVS and BMC AMI Ops Automation<br />Proven automation conversion or migration experience<br />Strong understanding of Mainframe environments<br />Experience working with Rules and EXECs Desirable Broad Mainframe automation expertise<br />Experience supporting large scale enterprise environments ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
